Insurance Company Market Actions
Insurance companies provide notice to the department and consumers when they withdraw entirely from a specific insurance market (for example, individual health market, small group health market, etc.). Insurance companies discontinuing a particular type of coverage must only provide notice of that discontinuance to consumers. Some companies provide notices of discontinuation of particular types of coverage to the department on a voluntary basis.
