Pharmacy Benefits Manager (PBM) License
HB 1682 was signed into law on July 13, 2020. The bill includes provisions requiring the licensure of pharmacy benefits managers in Missouri effective August 28, 2020.
To apply for a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) license in Missouri, you must satisfy these requirements:
- Submit a completed application form online and pay a one thousand dollar ($1,000) application fee. A pharmacy benefits manager license shall be effective for one year from the date it is issued.
NOTE: All pharmacy benefits managers must notify the department of any changes to the information supplied in the application within sixty (60) calendar days of the date of the change.
To renew a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) license in Missouri, you must satisfy these requirements:
- Submit a completed renewal application form online and pay a one thousand dollar ($1,000) renewal application fee.
