A consumer specialist with the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance (DCI) will be on-site in Ironton at the upcoming Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC) to answer insurance questions and help those impacted by the recent tornado and severe storms in Iron County.

MARCs are one-stop shops that pull together recovery resources in communities impacted by disasters. If residents were affected, they are encouraged to attend the MARC at the Arcadia Valley Chapel (472 S. Main St.) on Wednesday, May 29 from 1 to 7 p.m.

DCI’s insurance consumer specialists assist residents with understanding their insurance policies and provide company contact information. One specialist with the Insurance Consumer Affairs Division will be participating in the Ironton MARC on the department’s behalf. 

“Our team of trained technical experts are available to help, whether that’s reviewing a particular policy, sharing more information about the filing process, or checking on the status of a claim,” said Chlora Lindley-Myers, Director of the Missouri Department of Commerce and Insurance.
