Missouri Department of Insurance leadership panel to engage audience at Director's Regulatory Summit
Department leadership team to take questions from attendees
Jefferson City, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Insurance announced today it is seeking discussion topics and questions for the Director's Regulatory Summit from the insurance industry. The questions will be posed to department leadership and will form at least part of the leadership roundtable discussion. Attendees are encouraged to email their questions to RegSummit@insurance.mo.gov.
"By opening the discussion up to questions from the insurance industry, it will create a constructive and timely dialogue between regulators and industry on the issues that matter most," said Department Director John. M. Huff.
Furthermore, the department wants to remind everyone that the window for Summit registration is closing soon. The Summit is quickly filling up with attendees and the department encourages those interested in attending to register as soon as possible. As a reminder to the industry, the Summit has been approved for 5.8 Continuing Legal Education Hours by the Missouri Bar Association. Additionally, insurance producers can earn up to six Continuing Education hours.

The Summit will be held Oct. 15 in St. Louis, Missouri. Registration is $99 and is available at http://insurance.mo.gov/summit/.
At the 2014 Director's Regulatory Summit, department leadership and staff will engage with industry on a variety of regulatory issues. Sessions on Missouri solvency modernization initiatives, consumer services, product filings, market conduct and much more will be available.
