Insurance Producer Licensing Renewal
Prepare to Renew:
Missouri resident producers must complete courses approved by the Missouri Insurance Department. Courses must be completed during the biennium to which they are to be applied. The CE provider is required to submit the producer course information electronically.

*Such requirement shall include at least three hours of instruction in insurance ethics.
Non-resident producer’s license status will be verified by the Department of Commerce and Insurance through the Producer Database (PDB).
Renew and pay with credit card or e-check. The renewal fee is $100. A late fee of $25 per month shall be assessed for any producer who fails to renew their producer license by the expiration date. The late fee continues until all required documents and fees have been received for a maximum of one year.

Veterans renewing their license may be granted a one-time fee waiver. To submit a request for waiver of your renewal fees complete and submit the online form found at https://insurance.mo.gov/license-fee-waiver.php prior to submitting your renewal.
