Ozark Benefit Association Life Insurance Company ("OBA") was placed into Liquidation by the Cole County Circuit Court on February 24, 2015.

Important Dates In Liquidation

  • March 31, 2015 OBA Policies Terminate. There is no cash value in these policies and no guaranty association coverage after the termination date. No premium is due after March 31, 2015 and adjustments for overpaid or unearned premium will be made upon liquidation of OBA assets.
  • April 30, 2015 Claims Due. Claims for life insurance policy benefits and creditor claims must be received by the Liquidator by April 30, 2015.

Distribution of Assets

The Liquidator filed a Distribution Plan with the Court on November 13, 2015. Upon Court approval, the Liquidator anticipates distributing OBA's assets in November and December 2015.
