Insurance Producer Licensing Renewal
The Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions and Professional Registration encourages you to renew early and electronically, which can be completed quicker than a traditional paper application. You may renew your license beginning 60 days before it expires. If your license has expired, you will be required to submit the paper renewal. Renew in three easy steps:

Update your address, if needed. Click here.
Otherwise, go to Step 2.

Make sure your continuing education is compliant. If you're compliant, go to Step 3.
CE requirements: Resident producers licensed for major lines of authority (life, health, property, casualty, personal lines) or title must meet the CE requirement before they can renew.
Nonresident producers must hold comparable lines of authority in their resident state as they do in Missouri to renew electronically.
Renew and pay with credit card. The renewal fee is $100. If you are late renewing your license, please contact DIFP for the proper form and fees. Note: If your license has already expired, you will not be able to renew and pay with a credit card. For late renewals, you will need to refer to the paper renewal information given below.
Paper renewal: Click here for a paper renewal application, which takes seven to 10 business days to process. Fees may be paid by check or money order, made payable to DIFP – Insurance. Paper renewal application and fee should be mailed to:
