Missouri Department of Insurance to host 2014 Director's Regulatory Summit
Registration now open for October event in St. Louis
Jefferson City, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Insurance announced today registration for the 2014 Director's Regulatory Summit is now open. The Summit will be held Oct. 15 in St. Louis, Missouri. Registration is $99 and is available at http://insurance.mo.gov/summit/.
"This is a tremendous opportunity for our team of state regulators to come together with the insurance industry to identify pathways that can lead to a more effective and efficient regulatory environment," said Director John M. Huff. "The Summit provides a place for the department regulators and industry to work toward implementing regulatory modernization, creating a level playing field among competitors and enhancing consumer protection."
At the 2014 Director's Regulatory Summit, regulators and industry will engage with department leadership and staff on a variety of regulatory issues. Sessions on Missouri solvency modernization initiatives, consumer services, product filings, market conduct and much more will be available. Continuing education credit will be available for attendees.
