Text Specifications for Reporting Zip Code Data
- Label your diskette. Include your NAIC number, company name and contact person (with a phone number).
- Fill out the Appendix B form, include with diskette.
- Make sure to scan the diskette for viruses.
- Multiple companies can be submitted on the same diskette.
- Any negative values should have the negative sign before the value.
- NAIC Group Number: This is your NAIC - assigned group number. If you have no group code, the first four digits are "0000".
- NAIC Company Number: This is your NAIC - assigned company number.
- Year: Four-digit year being reported.
- Zip Code: Garaging Location - Property Location
Review DIFP's list of valid zip codes.
- Policy Type: Refer to Missouri Regulation 20 CSR 600-3.100, Table A - Policy Type Code.
- Exposure/Loss Type: Refer to Missouri Regulation 20 CSR 600-3.100, Table B - Exposure or Loss Type Code.
- Data Type (Upper Case):
- AE = Automobile Exposure
- AL = Automobile Losses
- PE = Homeowners/Dwelling Fire Exposures
- PL = Homeowners/Dwelling Fire Losses
- ME = Mobilehome Exposure
- ML = Mobilehome Losses
- FE = Farmowners Exposure
- FL = Farmowners Losses
- EE = Earthquake Exposures
- EL = Earthquake Losses
